Top Dry Rosé Wines from Traverse City, Michigan
To say I love Rosé is an understatement, I REALLY love Rosé. Many people wait for the spring and summer to enjoy the beauty of this trendy, beautiful pink wine; however I drink it year-round. I almost always have at least one on hand for Thanksgiving dinner and other holidays. It’s so versatile with food and pairs well with pizza, picnic food, salad, and seafood.
With the popularity of Rosé growing, many winemakers are producing their own, including wineries in Northern Michigan. During my recent visit to Traverse City, I had the opportunity to visit several wineries on the Leelanau Peninsula and the Old Mission Peninsula. I was pleasantly surprised to find so many great and affordable dry Rosés to help build my stockpile for the fall and winter.
If you like dry, fruit forward, strawberry, cranberry, citrus, and crisp Rosés, these are great wines to try on your next visit to Traverse City.
